Introducing West Coast Swing
…also known as Modern Swing.
What is West Coast Swing? It’s a modern form of swing influenced by dance styles such as Hip Hop, Jazz, Modern, Ballet, Ballroom, Latin, Argentine Tango, and much more. West Coast Swing is a very musical, emotional, and expressive form of dance. It is primarily danced to Top 40/Contemporary music with blues, swing, and other musical genres used as well.
In New Orleans, our West Coast Swing community is vibrant and active. There are so many opportunities to dance.
